Organising a company Christmas lunch in Kuala Lumpur often comes down to three questions: how many people are attending, what sort of atmosphere are you trying to create, and how much should you budget per guest? A longer menu is not automatically the best menu. For an office team lunch, a familiar, satisfying festive spread may work better than an elaborate executive-style selection.
For Christmas 2026, Lux Catering offers three halal festive buffet tiers for events across Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley, each with a minimum of 30 guests. Here is how to choose between them.
RM58 — Christmas Classic: an approachable office celebration
Christmas Classic is designed for team lunches and more casual year-end gatherings. The menu combines creamy tomato soup with garlic bread, Christmas deviled eggs, roasted chicken with supreme sauce, creamy garlic seafood, mushroom aglio olio, roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes and pineapples, festive desserts and lemonade.
It is especially attractive to teams that want a recognisable Christmas meal without making the occasion overly formal. One point worth noting is that the RM58 menu includes a seafood dish—so compare the actual selections rather than assuming seafood only appears in the highest tier.
RM78 — Christmas Celebration: a broader festive spread
This tier works well for an office appreciation lunch or a larger festive gathering where guests appreciate variety. It adds dishes such as creamy pumpkin soup, crispy boxing chicken, chicken parmigiana, beef meatballs with brown and berry sauces, baked broccoli macaroni and cheese, golden garlic fried rice and Christmas virgin mojito.
Although this menu offers a fuller range of festive favourites, it does not follow the same seafood selection as Christmas Classic. Choose it for the larger variety and its celebratory Western-style combination, rather than expecting every item in the RM58 tier to carry forward.
RM99 — Grand Christmas Feast: for premium corporate hospitality
The Grand Christmas Feast is built for client appreciation, executive gatherings and a more premium Christmas occasion. Its highlights include assorted canapés, grilled rack of lamb with black pepper and mint sauce, chicken cordon bleu, garlic butter seared seafood, Christmas panna cotta and additional accompaniments.
This is the tier to consider when presentation, a wider premium spread and hosting external guests matter as much as feeding the team.
Compare the total event cost—not just the food price
The listed prices are per person, with a 30-pax minimum. Your total event quotation may also depend on the venue, delivery, buffet setup, equipment, service crew and any requested changes. Confirm what is included before obtaining internal budget approval. For example, an office lobby event with building access requirements may need different arrangements from a lunch in a ground-floor hall.
Which should you request?
If the event is a straightforward team meal, start with Christmas Classic. For a fuller staff appreciation gathering, compare Christmas Celebration. When inviting key clients or leadership, review Grand Christmas Feast. Dietary requirements, the preferred serving time and venue details can all influence the final recommendation.
