New Corporate Buffet Menus KL | Lux Catering

New Corporate Buffet Menus Are Now Available at Lux Catering

Planning a corporate buffet often starts with a deceptively simple question:

What should we serve?

An internal office lunch has very different requirements from an executive appreciation event. A client-facing function may need a more refined menu, while a company celebration may call for something more substantial again.

To make that decision easier, Lux Catering has introduced a new collection of corporate buffet menus for Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley, organised by cuisine and event level.

Our newly published buffet collection now brings together Chinese, Malay, Western and Fusion menus, with options designed for everything from everyday corporate lunches to premium company events.

Four Cuisines, Different Ways to Host

Corporate events are rarely one-size-fits-all.

Some teams prefer familiar local dishes. Others may need a Western menu for an executive lunch, Chinese dishes for a company gathering, or a mixed Fusion spread when the guest list is more diverse.

Rather than placing everything into one enormous menu, the new collection is divided into four clear directions.

Chinese Corporate Buffet

Our Chinese buffet collection is built around familiar Oriental flavours while offering different levels according to the occasion.

The range currently includes:

  • Oriental Social — RM48 per pax
  • Jade Executive — RM68 per pax
  • Imperial Signature — RM88 per pax

The RM48 tier is intended as an accessible option for office functions and company lunches.

Moving into the Jade Executive tier gives organisers a more substantial selection for client hosting, appreciation events and executive functions.

For occasions where the meal itself needs to feel more premium, Imperial Signature sits at the top of the Chinese collection.

Malay Corporate Buffet

For companies looking for something more local, our Malay collection focuses on familiar flavours presented in a corporate buffet format.

The three current tiers are:

  • Warisan Social — RM48 per pax
  • Nusantara Executive — RM68 per pax
  • Royal Heritage — RM88 per pax

These menus can work particularly well for staff lunches, appreciation functions, celebrations and corporate occasions where guests are looking for recognisable Malaysian flavours.

The different tiers also allow organisers to choose according to the event rather than automatically paying for a premium spread when a simpler buffet is sufficient.

Western Corporate Buffet

Western menus remain a popular choice for management lunches, client-facing events and formal company functions.

Our new Western collection includes:

  • Continental Social — RM48 per pax
  • Continental Executive — RM68 per pax
  • Grand Continental — RM88 per pax

The structure follows the same principle as our Chinese and Malay menus: start with a practical corporate option, move into an executive-level spread, and then offer a more premium menu when the occasion calls for it.

This makes it easier for an organiser to compare options without having to work through a large list of individual dishes first.

Fusion Corporate Buffet

Not every corporate event fits neatly into one cuisine.

For those occasions, our Fusion buffet collection allows the menu to take a broader approach.

The current range includes:

  • Corporate Social — RM48 per pax
  • Executive Series — RM68 per pax
  • Prestige Gala — RM118 per pax

Corporate Social is suited to everyday company functions and casual gatherings, while Executive Series is intended for occasions such as client hosting and appreciation events.

At the top of the collection, Prestige Gala is positioned for higher-profile functions such as gala dinners, launches and premium corporate occasions.

You can compare all four cuisine collections on our dedicated Corporate Buffet Menu page.

So, Which Price Tier Should You Choose?

Price is useful, but the cheapest or most expensive package is not automatically the right choice.

A better approach is to start with the purpose of the event.

RM48 — Social & Everyday Corporate Events

The RM48 menus are generally the most suitable starting point for:

  • Office lunches
  • Department gatherings
  • Training events
  • Internal company functions
  • Casual staff celebrations

For these events, the priority is usually a complete and enjoyable meal without unnecessarily increasing the budget.

RM68 — Executive & Appreciation Events

The RM68 tier is a natural step up for:

  • Client hosting
  • Executive lunches
  • Appreciation events
  • Management meetings
  • More formal internal functions

This is likely to be the useful middle ground for many corporate organisers: elevated enough for a more important occasion without moving into gala-event territory.

RM88 — Premium Corporate Functions

Our RM88 Chinese, Malay and Western menus are designed for events where the catering should feel more substantial.

These may include:

  • Management functions
  • Corporate celebrations
  • Important client events
  • Milestone occasions
  • Premium staff appreciation functions

RM118 — Gala & Higher-Profile Events

The Prestige Gala Fusion menu is positioned differently again.

Rather than being an everyday corporate buffet, it is intended for occasions where the catering is part of the overall event experience — including gala dinners, launches and higher-profile company events.

You Don't Always Need the Most Expensive Menu

One of the reasons we created different tiers is to make corporate menu selection more practical.

If you are organising a straightforward 80-person office lunch, an RM48 menu may be completely appropriate.

If those same 80 guests are senior management and external clients attending an appreciation function, the RM68 or RM88 range may make more sense.

And if the event is an evening launch or gala where food presentation forms an important part of the guest experience, then a premium menu becomes easier to justify.

The objective is not to simply move every enquiry towards the highest-priced package.

It is to choose a menu that fits the event, guests, venue and budget.

Buffet Catering Beyond the Menu

Choosing the food is only one part of planning a corporate buffet.

Venue access, serving time, guest count, buffet setup, service requirements and event flow can all affect the final catering arrangement.
